Card Types: Historical Figures: Represent notable individuals from U.S. history, each with unique attack and defense stats. Event Cards: Change the course of the game by simulating historical events. Artifact Cards: Depict significant historical objects or documents, providing buffs or special abilities. Action: Action is done through token, each player has 3 token to call an action. Historical Figures: These cards represent notable individuals from history. They have attack and defense stats. Event Cards: These can be played to change the course of the game, simulating historical events. Artifact Cards: Represent significant objects or documents (like the Declaration of Independence) which provide buffs or special abilities. Player Health - "Influence Points": Each player starts with a set number of Influence Points, representing their ability to sway the course of history. Losing points could represent losing influence over historical events, while gaining points increases their sway. Combat Mechanics: When attacking, a card's Attack value is compared to the opponent’s Defense value. The difference is subtracted from the defending card's Defense. If a card's Defense reaches 0, it is removed from play. If there are no enemy cards, players can attack the opponent's Influence Points directly. Historical Accuracy Mechanic: Players can gain bonus Influence Points by playing cards in historically accurate sequences or combinations. Incorrect historical sequences might lead to penalties or loss of Influence Points. Era-Based Phases: The game could be divided into different eras (Colonial, Civil War, Modern, etc.). Each era could have specific cards and events, influencing the gameplay. Special Abilities: Each historical figure card could have a unique ability based on their real-life contributions or characteristics. End Game Conditions: The game could end after a certain number of rounds, or when a player reaches a specific Influence Point threshold. Expansion and Education: The game can be expanded with more cards representing different periods or aspects of history. Include educational descriptions on the cards to enhance the learning experience.
