Wassail
Pour 1 gallon of apple cider or unfiltered apple juice in a pot; -- ; Skin and chunk 1 cup of ginger root, add to pot; -- ; Peel and chunk 1 navel orange, and 1 lemon, add to pot; -- ; Add 2-3 cinnamon sticks to pot; -- ; Add 5-10 cloves to pot depending on your preference; -- ; Bring to boil then lower to simmer, when orange is mushy soft, strain and enjoy; -- ; Enjoy hot or cold. For a kick mix 50/50 with red wine or mead, or add a shot of apple brandy, whiskey, or ouzo.
